
The impact of the VET2Business Project will be wide, reaching and touching all target groups and audiences at different stages of the Project:
End users: learners, Young learners, VET trainers & employers (SMEs in the Tourism Sector)
- Increased skills, knowledge and experience in the field of Hotels and Catering;
- Students in the VET Sector that have the opportunity to access better jobs with better carrier options;
- Tourism SMEs are going to employ more suitable workforce, ready to perform better within the new environment;
- SMEs are able to provide an input during the design and delivery of VET Curricula and take part during the preparation of better WBL and apprenticeship schemes;
- Employers and social partners maintain an important role in shaping VET provision for the Sector;
- Employers have better access to talent and better skilled workforce;
- VET providers, policy makers and regulatory bodies in VET have increased access labour market intelligence and are more responsive to industry needs;
- Increased mobility across EU and employability opportunities;
- New networks established among peers – learners and teachers.
Stakeholders: Αssociations of employers and professionals, policy makers, local and regional authorities, youth organisations.
- Capacity of partners enhanced as well as their knowledge on international best practices, work based and blended learning, and EU transparency tools and instruments;
- Working relations, links and networking opportunities with other organisations increased both nationally and at European level;
- Innovative and modernised curricula in 2 EU countries, underpinned by alignment with EU transparency instruments and tools, allowing for their transferability across EU;
- Strengthened entrepreneurship, management and digital skills of professionals, supporting the longer term sustainability and growth of the Sector;
- Improved professionalism, capacity and competitiveness as a result of modern, innovative and relevant VET offer;
- Policy change and meaningful collaboration between different stakeholders ensuring the VET offer is industry-led;
- Improved perceptions of VET training and raised importance of transversal skills;
- Increased confidence and mutual trust between actors in VET provision, employers, social partners and accreditation bodies.
