During the meeting, special focus was given on the online “e-portfolio” platform and the online apprenticeship monitoring tool, both finalized, fully functional and integrated into the VET2Business website with the aim to promote the project as a whole and allow interested parties to benefit from the overall spectrum of methodologies and activities that have been designed. Furthermore, the partners concluded on the details for the final piloting phase and shared their opinions on how to further “spread the word”, even though it was acknowledged there was considerable progress on that field.
The meeting was attended, also, by representatives of the associated partner DEHOGA (https://www.dehoga-brandenburg.de/), who informed the partnership about their initiatives on the dissemination and outreach of the project’s results and their forthcoming activities.
VET2Business Project aims to establish a solid regional partnership between Greece and Germany to tackle the identified skills gap in the Tourism Sector by creating two innovative VET curricula for Digital and Intercultural Skills supported by a Work-based Learning scheme. The project has been coordinated by AKMI S.A. (https://iek-akmi.edu.gr/), represented in the meeting by Mr Theodoros Grassos, Director of the Department of EU and International Projects and Mrs Viktoria Topalidi, Project Manager.
