During the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to present the current state of play of the Project (project overall assessment), with special focus given on the two up-to-date Curricula that have been developed, the 1st Curriculum on Digital Skills and the 2nd Curriculum on Intercultural Skills enhancement in Hospitality and Catering Sector. Piloting phase of the two curricula is expected to start beginning of June 2019, engaging learners, employees and employers from the Hospitality and Catering Sector from both Greece and Germany, with special emphasis on SMEs.
One of the successful elements of the 4th VET2Business project meeting is the active participation of our associated partners from German Hotel and Restaurant Association - Dehoga Brandenburg (https://www.dehoga-brandenburg.de/) and the Institute of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants in Greece - IME GSEVEE (https://imegsevee.gr/) that are our linkage with the business industry and Sector’s actual needs.
Other issues that have been discussed included the dissemination and communication strategy within the next months and how to engage more stakeholders and policy makers in “spreading the word” about VET2Business.
AKMI SA was represented by its Project Manager, Mrs. Giorina Maratsi and its Financial Manager, Mrs. Viktoria Topalidi.
