Within the scope of Vet2Business Project, partners agreed on applying an online surveyto gather quantitative data, conducted electronically, via e-mail, through a questionnaire designed with the scope to identify current skills mismatches in the Hospitality and Catering Sector. This approach allows reaching a wider audience.The designed online-survey focuses on quantitative, measurable and definable data, in order that the results can be converted into numbers and statistics.
The aim of the survey is to identify skills gaps of staff in the Hotel and Catering Sector. Those information will be necessary to improve the relevance of education and training and meet recent labour market needs. The survey results will be used to design and pilot two new innovative VET curricula in the Hospitality and Catering sub-sectors. They will emphasize work-based-learning and apprenticeship schemes.
